Report from Bedford Hills

I met with Eugenia today at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, where she continues to serve her 23-year to life prison sentence.  As she has been incarcerated since 1999, she doesn't really know what a "blog" is and I had some difficulty describing this particular endeavor.  She is nonetheless very appreciative of all of you who have shown an interest in the case, and for the sent letters of support some of you have sent on her behalf.

We have not had any update from the Executive Clemency Bureau or the Office of the Governor since our formal matterials were submitted last month.  We will keep you all updated if we hear anything!
